The "Tattle" Battle!

So the kids turned 4 in December and we immediately entered the tattle phase of our lives. So far this only occurring at home and not at school, which stinks for me because the teachers have more patience than I do! I haven't quite figured out the right way to handle this current challenge and am open to any advice (help Supernanny). I do love being at home with them...most of the time. Sometimes I just want to go to the bathroom in peace, and even though I close and lock the door they still pound on it screaming "Mommy, what are you doing? Can I come in? Mommy, MOMMY!" Anyways, here are the most current pics. of the kiddos. I love the one of Cooper and Skylar handcuffed together. It is such a cute, innocent picture, but doesn't kind of look like he is arresting her for something..... :) ?

You seem to be raising our kids to be the second coming of Captain and Tennille.

This is so funny! I had yet to see your blog and we just had the conversation today about the who tattling ordeal....you heard my daughter running to the steps to tell me of your children's misdoings. Wish I had the solution....I threatened her before we got to the house abo0ut what would happen if she tattled...obviously wasn't successful.

I love the picture! That's one to dave for when they are oldre!

Talk to you soon. Can wai to see your postings!

Amy,
This is so great! I don't know how you do it, but this is one fun site. The kids must feel like celebrities! And Bry may be right...they do rather look like the new Captain and Tennille! (Although I'm not sure how he can remember them. Bet he can imitate them though.)

The tattling is really a phase and kind of manages itself in time once they realize that if they tattle, the other one will tattle on them. This is actually in your favor right now, it's when they join forces and don't tell you things in the future that's worrisome! Or if they hold it in, that's rather unhealthy. Kate was afraid to tell me anything about Rita or Cassie...you remember them don't you?

Much love to you guys, wish we could be with you all tomorrow evening.
xo,
Linda
